PROJECT: COMPANY LOGO REDESIGN

COMPANY: Deltapath Inc. - Current Employer

This was my first project when coming on board to team Deltapath. Their old logo looked very outdated, and although they had already edited the word mark, it still had a cold and "old" feel to it.

I worked closely with Deltapath's CEO to discuss what our logo would need to achieve. The company needed to be more approachable and youthful in order to stand out from big competitors. After several sketches, ideations, and pitches, a color scheme started to form however further research was needed.

The concept of the new logo is to symbolize communication, the element is an abstract form of the letters D and P, where both look like communication bubbles with bright blue and green colors that allow the logo to pop amongst the sea of competitor logos. The Deltapath word mark type was rounded out to make it look "friendlier" all the while still maintaining a smart presence with the dark green color. The new logo has a more modern and clean feel to it. For wall applications, the logo loses its gradient within the element, since gradients cannot be printed for this material.

In order to maintain consistency of our brand and logo positioning, I created the co-brand guidelines. This document assisted our partners to know what they can and cannot do with the Deltapath logo.
